The Seafare was a legendary cornerstone of Nags Head dining, known for its "unexcelled" atmosphere and as a premier landmark of the Outer Banks. Originally opened by Phoebe and Dewey Hayman as an oyster bar in 1959, it evolved under their son Mike Hayman into a high-end destination that defined coastal elegance for nearly 25 years.
